★ 2018年展覽報告 : 19000平方米、750個攤位、470家參展商、來自21個國家、預計17050 名買主
★ 越南國情概況 :
越南人口9,170萬，自1995年加入東協自由貿易區、與美國建交、和歐盟簽署自由貿易協定；胡志明市不但越南最大的城市， 而且是越南最重要經濟中心，GDP佔越南20 %。胡志明市供給越南國家每年收入33.78 %，胡志明市進口從金額佔全國34 %。目前胡志明市共有13個加工出口區及工業區，已逾1,000家國內外廠商進駐投資，僱用逾25萬名勞工。
2017年經濟成長6.81％，超過預定成長6.7%之目標，為10年以來之最高成長，其中，第三季度及第四季度的經濟成長率超過7%。2018年上半年越南經濟成長率較去(2017)年同期成長約7.08%，屢創新高。2017年人均GDP約5,350萬越南盾（?2,385美元）吸引外資及進出口總額成長，外商直接投資金額約175億美元，較2016年成長10.8％。2017年總計5個投資項目價值達數十億美元以上，2017年進出口總額更突破4,000億美元。
★ 對外貿易簡介 :
1. 越南2018年1至5月出口930.9億美元，進口額879億美元，分別成長15.8%和8.2%，貿易順差33.9億美元。
2. 主要出口國家美國係越南最大出口市場(334.79 億美元)、次為中國 大陸(171.41億美元)、日本(141.37億美元)、南韓(81.9億美元)、及香港(69.65 億美元)等。
3. 主要進口國家依序為中國大陸(495.27 億美元)、次為南韓(254.62 億美元)、 日本(143.67 億美元)、台灣(109.93 億美元)及泰國(82.84 億美元)等。
東協國家已於 2015 年底成立東協經濟共同體(AEC)，在越南投資企業宜積 極掌握商機，改善企業體質及發揮經營能力，可善加運用 AEC 所帶來的 經營商機。越南主要輸歐之產品包括紡織成衣品、鞋類、咖啡、水產品及電子產品。
★ 越南扶植發展塑膠產業，原料及設備均倚重進口 :
越南塑膠產業現今面臨原料缺乏挑戰，90%仰賴進口原料運作，自己生產的原料僅能提供國內生產10%之原料需求量。據統計，該產業年進口量160~200萬公噸，進口金額約21億美元，年外銷出口7億5,000萬美元塑膠製品，越南塑膠產業應投資興建塑膠廢料再生處理廠，目前全國約有2,200家塑膠廠商，其中80%位於胡志明市。
★ 國家投資，引進先進設備 :
迄今，越南塑膠製品的總產量已達逾100萬噸，可是截至今越南塑膠業具有競爭力，並能打敗外國對手的仍只有家用塑膠製品，在越南各超市95%之塑膠日用品是在越南國內生產(這比重佔塑膠業總產量的30%)，目前糧食食品包裝、各類飲料包裝、潔淨礦泉水包裝、水海產包裝等所需原料，近乎100%已能在越南國內生產。目前許多家越南塑膠公司開始向出口市場進軍，投資引進高科技設備，如隆城公司投資四色印刷啤酒箱之生產技術；大同進公司投資薄膜壓膠片等高技術設備；Liksin公司吹製PE複合薄膜技術等。越南塑膠行業仍僅能提供一般家用塑膠品，未來仍需繼續投資，據越南塑膠總公司表示，越南塑膠業未來的投資約需20億美元，越南塑膠機械商機十分可觀。
近年來越南經濟發展迅速，人民消費水準亦提高，不論一般塑膠消費品或是工業建材用的塑膠製品需求均逐漸提昇，例如:塑膠天花板、塑膠地板、塑膠嵌板、塑膠隔板、塑膠門扉、塑膠窗扉等塑膠建材，高級電力、汽車冷卻系統、機車以及電子電信塑膠零配件市場比重亦逐漸提高。
歐盟輸往越南之主要產品包括藥品、機械設備及運輸工具。另歐盟對協助越南現代化及國際經濟整合之承諾亦顯示在歐盟各項援助計畫。
製造及營建業：我國在胡志明市較知名之投資包括新順加工出口區、富美 興公司、寶元公司；同奈省則包括味丹公司、三陽機車公司(SYM)、台南 紡織公司、大亞電線電纜公司、建大橡膠、東元集團、中鋼集團、台塑集團；平陽省則為統一公司、大同公司、遠東製衣、較為出名。其他隆安省 尚有我商清祿鞋業公司、福懋公司、中興紡織、廣隆電池、裕源紡織。
